Belltech builds lowering suspension for trucks and SUVs — over 200 parts across drop spindles, lowering springs, flip kits, shackles, shocks and complete lowering kits.

Lowering is done well or done cheaply, and the difference is the spindle. A drop spindle relocates the hub upward within the knuckle, lowering the vehicle while keeping suspension travel, geometry and ride quality close to factory. Cutting or heating springs achieves the height and destroys all three, and cannot be undone.

At the rear, a flip kit moves the axle above the leaf spring for a substantial drop, while shackles and hangers give smaller adjustments. Any meaningful drop needs shorter bump stops and shocks valved for the new travel, or the suspension runs out of room and rides on the stops.
