Window Visors & Vents

In-channel and tape-on window visors and vent shades — AVS, Husky Liners, Putco and more. A visor lets you crack the windows in rain without taking it inside, and cuts wind noise and cabin heat at a stoplight.

Mounting decides most of the decision. A tape-on visor sits outside the window frame on automotive adhesive: easier to fit, removable, and it stands slightly proud of the door. An in-channel visor slides into the window channel itself for a flush look, but on some vehicles it can interfere with an automatic window's pinch sensor, so check before buying if your windows have one-touch closure.

Tint depth is a legal question in several provinces where it covers a window opening. Smoke and dark smoke are the common finishes; chrome and matte black are cosmetic variants of the same part.
