Fasteners, studs, bolt kits, brackets and engine mounting hardware — 8 parts.

Engine fasteners are engineered parts, not commodity bolts. Head studs and rod bolts are specified by material and by the clamping load they are designed to reach, which is why a build makes a stud upgrade before it makes more boost — the fastener is what holds a head gasket sealed under cylinder pressure.

Torque procedure matters as much as the part. Many fasteners are torque-to-yield and are designed to be used once; reusing one that has already stretched gives a clamping load nobody can predict. Follow the sequence and the lubricant the manufacturer specifies, because a torque figure assumes a particular friction condition and means little without it.
