Ford F-150 Air Suspension Guide

This guide is for Ford F-150 owners in Canada looking at an air spring or air suspension kit. Every kit here is a Pacbrake Alpha, so the choice is less about brand and more about matching the kit to your truck's years and the notes in the title: exclusions, drive, and parts some trucks also need.

Pacbrake's listings describe air suspension this way: inflatable air springs are used in place of, or alongside, steel springs, and changing the air pressure changes how much load each spring supports and how high the vehicle sits.

What to check first on your F-150

• Years. Pacbrake titles these kits 04-08, 04-14, 15-21, 21-25 or 2026. The 15-21 and 21-25 titles both include 2021, so a 2021 owner should confirm in the fitment table which one is listed for the truck.
• Exclusions. Read the brackets at the end of each title. Some exclude the Raptor, the Lightning or the FX2.
• Drive. One title is for 4WD trucks. The 21-25 titles say RWD models need an extra part.
• Other equipment. The 15-21 titles say without 5th wheel hitch, and the 21-25 titles flag CCD-equipped models.
• HD or HD Pro. Pacbrake offers an Alpha HD and an Alpha HD Pro for several year ranges. Our listings do not spell out what the Pro adds, so compare the two product pages before you choose.

Each product page lists the years, makes and models it fits; use the vehicle selector to confirm yours. For the newest trucks, start from Air Suspension & Helper Springs for 2021-2026 Ford F-150.

2021-2025 F-150

The Pacbrake Alpha HD Air Spring Suspension Kit, 21-25 F150 and the Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro Air Spring Suspension Kit, 21-25 F150 carry the same notes in their titles:

• They exclude the Raptor and the Lightning.
• RWD models require Pacbrake part HP10152.
• CCD-equipped models require Pacbrake part HP10402-RH.

The title says those trucks require these parts. Check the product page for what comes in the box and whether the extra part has to be ordered separately, so the job is not held up.

2026 F-150

For the 2026 truck, Pacbrake titles the Pacbrake Alpha HD Air Suspension Kit, 2026 F150 and the Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro Air Suspension Kit, 2026 F150. Neither title lists exclusions or extra parts, so read the product page and fitment table for your trim and drive.

2015-2021 F-150

The Pacbrake Alpha HD Air Spring Kit, 15-21 F150 (Without 5th Wheel Hitch) and the Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro Air Spring Kit, 15-21 F150 (Without 5th Wheel Hitch) are both titled for trucks without a 5th wheel hitch. If your truck has one, these titles do not cover it.

2004-2014 F-150

• Pacbrake Alpha HD Rear Air Suspension Kit for 04-14 F150 4WD (Excluding Raptor): rear position, 4WD, Raptor excluded.
• Pacbrake Alpha HD Rear Air Suspension Kit for 04-08 F150 (Excluding FX2): rear position, FX2 excluded. The title names no drive, so check the fitment table.

Narrowing it down

Find your year range, read the brackets in the title, and note any extra part your truck needs. None of these listings states a load rating or an install time, so check the product page for those details. The full Air Suspension & Helper Springs category filters by vehicle. If the truck tows, our Ford F-150 towing accessories guide covers hitches and the rest of the setup. Whatever you fit lives under the truck through a Canadian winter of slush and road salt, so give the rear suspension a rinse in spring. Prices are in Canadian dollars and orders ship across Canada.

FAQ

Will these kits fit an F-150 Raptor or Lightning?

The 21-25 titles exclude the Raptor and Lightning, and the 04-14 title excludes the Raptor. The other titles do not name either, so check the fitment table before ordering.

What extra parts does a 2021-2025 F-150 need?

Per the title, RWD models require Pacbrake HP10152 and CCD-equipped models require HP10402-RH. Check the product page for whether they come in the box.

I have a 2021 F-150. Which kit fits?

Both the 15-21 and the 21-25 titles include 2021. Use the vehicle selector and the fitment table on each product page to see which one lists your truck.

What is the difference between Alpha HD and Alpha HD Pro?

Our listings do not say what the Pro adds. Compare the two product pages for the same year range before choosing.
