Spec's Stage 3+ clutch kit is built for the 12-13 Ford Focus ST 2.0T EcoBoost and takes the place of the stock clutch. Spec says it must be used with flywheel SF33A-4.
A clutch connects and disconnects the engine from a manual transmission: the pressure plate clamps the clutch disc against the flywheel to transmit power, and releases it when the clutch pedal is pressed.
