The Rugged Ridge ORV front nitrogen shock absorber for the 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ is a 150 PSI nitrogen charged design with D.O.M. tubing. Extended length is 28.75 inches and collapsed length is 16.56 inches.

A shock absorber controls how quickly the suspension spring compresses and rebounds, damping bounce so the tires stay in contact with the road; a strut does the same job while also forming a structural part of the suspension.
