Shipping Policy
Where we ship
We ship across Canada, including Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Shipping to the territories, and to remote or rural addresses, may cost more and take longer than shipping to major centres. Where an order requires freight beyond the rate shown at checkout, we will contact you with a quote before shipping, and you may cancel for a full refund at that point.
Where your order ships from
We work with several distribution partners across Canada and the United States so we can offer a wider range of parts than any single warehouse stocks.
We prioritise Canadian sources. Where a product is available from more than one of our partners, we source it domestically wherever we can, which generally means faster delivery and fewer border-related costs and delays. This is not possible for every product, as some brands are only available to us through US partners, and we do not guarantee any particular origin for a given order.
Processing time
Orders are typically submitted to our distribution partner within one business day of payment. Orders placed on weekends or statutory holidays are processed on the next business day.
Processing time is separate from transit time, and neither begins until payment has cleared.
Delivery estimates
Delivery times vary by item, origin and destination.
Orders filled from a Canadian distributor are domestic shipments and generally arrive sooner. Orders filled from a US distributor travel further and clear customs on the way, which adds time. Where one order draws on both, the packages will not arrive together.
We do not publish a fixed delivery window, because we would not be able to stand behind it. Transit time is set by the carrier and varies with destination, season and customs clearance, none of which we control. Your shipping confirmation carries a tracking link, and that tracking is the accurate estimate for your particular parcel.
Tracking
Tracking is provided as soon as our distribution partner releases it.
For items shipping domestically, tracking is usually available within one business day of dispatch. For items shipping from a US warehouse, tracking may not appear or update for several days, including while the shipment is in transit to or clearing the border. This is normal and does not mean your order is lost or delayed.
If tracking has not updated after 5 business days, contact us and we will follow it up with the carrier.
Orders shipping in more than one package
Because we source from multiple partners, an order containing more than one item may ship in separate packages, from different warehouses, arriving on different days. Some items may arrive several days apart.
You will receive a separate shipping confirmation for each shipment as it is dispatched, so a single order may generate more than one notification. You are not charged more than the shipping shown at checkout because an order ships separately.
Shipping charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the destination and the items ordered.
Some items — including oversize, heavy or freight-class goods such as bumpers, tonneau covers, wheels and suspension components — may require additional freight beyond the rate shown. Where that applies we will contact you with a quote before shipping, and you may cancel for a full refund.
Delivery surcharges
Some deliveries attract additional carrier charges, for example tailgate or liftgate service on heavy freight, address correction fees, redelivery fees, or charges for remote delivery areas.
We absorb these where we can. In some cases the carrier bills them at the point of delivery, in which case they are payable by the recipient. Where we know in advance that such a charge is likely, we will tell you before shipping.
You can avoid most of these by providing a complete and accurate delivery address and ensuring someone is available to receive the shipment.
Duties, taxes and border costs
Applicable Canadian taxes are shown at checkout.
For items shipping from the United States, duties and brokerage are handled by our distribution partner where their delivered-duty terms apply. We do not guarantee that no border-related charges will arise on any given shipment. If a carrier bills you a charge you were not expecting, contact us and we will look into it.
Delivery address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We cannot change an address once an order has been submitted to our distribution partner.
Orders returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address, or because delivery was refused or not collected, may be refunded less outbound shipping, return freight and any carrier fees incurred.
PO boxes and rural routes
Some items cannot be delivered to a PO box or rural route address, and some ship by a different carrier with different transit times when they can. If we cannot ship to the address provided, we will contact you.
Availability and order acceptance
We do not hold inventory. Product availability shown on our site reflects information provided by our distribution partners and can change between the time you place an order and the time we submit it.
Placing an order is an offer to purchase, not a completed contract. No contract is formed until we accept your order and submit it to our distribution partner. We may decline or cancel any order, in whole or in part, including where an item is unavailable, discontinued or back-ordered, or where we are unable to fulfil it on the terms shown.
Product information on our site is drawn from manufacturer and distributor data feeds, and errors occur. Where a price or description is obviously incorrect, we may cancel the affected item even after payment has been taken, and we are not obliged to supply at the erroneous price.
Where we cancel for any of these reasons we refund you in full for the cancelled portion, and that refund is your sole remedy.
Back-ordered items
If an item you have ordered turns out to be back-ordered or otherwise unavailable within a reasonable timeframe, we will cancel that item and refund you in full. We do not hold orders open against future stock.
Damaged, lost or missing shipments
Please inspect your order on arrival.
Visible damage. Note it with the carrier at the time of delivery if possible, and contact us within 2 business days with photographs of the packaging and the item. Freight carriers frequently reject damage claims where damage was not noted at delivery.
Shortage or wrong item. Contact us within 5 business days of delivery.
Not delivered. If tracking shows delivery but you have not received the shipment, contact us within 10 business days so we can open a carrier trace. Carriers impose their own deadlines for claims and we cannot pursue a claim after they close.
