Product Details

The Rugged Ridge black front skid plate for the JK is made of 1/4 in. powder coated steel with a rust-resistant E-coating and protects the front steering components. It is a frame-mount design with gussets and welded brackets.

A skid plate is a plate bolted beneath the vehicle that shields a vulnerable underbody part, such as the engine, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank or differential, from rocks and obstacles.
