The answer lies within a unique reactive core design that effectively suppresses EMI ensuring trouble-free operation of the ignition control, EFI system and other on-board electronics. From a performance standpoint, the conductor of the FireWire features the lowest resistance, less than 25 ohms per foot, of resistance. To combat the extreme conditions that wires face under the hood, the core and conductor are protected with a sleeve of double-layered, pure silicone. This design is effective against header heat, oils and abrasion, and to complete the package, our silicone boots can withstand 550?F!
