The Edelbrock thermostat gasket is designed for 83-02 Jeep 4.0L inline six engines. It seals the thermostat housing on that engine.

A gasket or seal closes the gap where two parts meet, or around a turning shaft, so that oil, coolant, fuel, air, exhaust or combustion pressure cannot leak out of the engine or driveline.
