This is compliance lighting more than accessory lighting. Trailers and heavy vehicles are required to carry marker, clearance and identification lamps in specified positions and colours, and a burnt-out lamp on a trailer is a straightforward inspection failure and a real safety issue at night.

Buy the lamp with its grommet and pigtail together — a marker lamp is only as watertight as the grommet it sits in, and the connector is where corrosion starts on a trailer that lives outside. Sealed harnesses cost more and outlast spliced repairs by years.
