Factor 55 Winches & Recovery Gear

Factor 55 makes the small, strong parts that connect a winch line to a vehicle or an anchor. The listings are sold by part rather than by vehicle, so you pick based on your winch, your rope and how you plan to recover.

Shackle mounts include Prolink, Flatlink and Flatlink XTV styles, which give a place to attach a shackle at the fairlead. The Ultrahook winch hook, listed in colours such as OD green and red, holds a winch line to a shackle or a recovery point. Soft shackles are an extreme duty option that is lighter than steel. Splicers and the Fast Fid rope splicing tool are for finishing a synthetic rope end, and retaining rings are small replacement parts.

Recovery kits bundle the main pieces. The Owyhee recovery kit and a second winch accessory kit come with a Hitchlink, listed in yellow or orange, and a medical bag in one package. A kit suits someone who is setting up a recovery system from scratch, while single parts suit someone who needs one piece.

Check the rope size and the shackle size in the title against what you have, since the parts must match to work together. For related gear, browse all winches and recovery gear. Prices are in Canadian dollars and orders ship across Canada.
