Bull Bars & Grille Guards

Bull bars, grille guards, brush guards and front-end protection — Rugged Ridge, Westin, Air Design and more.

These protect the grille, radiator and headlights from what a low-speed impact would otherwise reach — livestock and deer on a rural highway, brush on a trail, a badly placed bollard in a yard. A bull bar covers the centre; a full grille guard extends to the lamps; a brush guard adds vertical uprights across the grille opening.

Check what the front of your vehicle carries before choosing. Forward radar for adaptive cruise, parking sensors and a front camera all sit in that area, and a guard without provision for them will disable a system. Confirm too that the bar's mounting is engineered for your vehicle's frame horns — front-end protection that transfers a hit into the wrong structure is worse than none.
