Bed Rails & Caps

Bed rails, bed caps, stake pocket covers and tie-down systems — Putco, Westcan, Bushwacker and more.

These parts do two different jobs and it is worth knowing which you need. Bed caps and rail protectors cover the top edge of the bed sides, which is where a tailgate-loaded ATV, a sliding toolbox or years of leaning takes the paint off first. Bed rails proper add tie-down points and a bar to strap against.

Check how a part mounts before ordering. Clamp-on and stake-pocket designs leave the sheet metal intact; drilled installations are more secure and permanent, and on a truck you plan to keep that trade is usually worth making. Either way, a tie-down rated for the strap you intend to pull on is the part that matters.
