Baja Designs builds racing-derived LED lighting — over 400 parts across the Squadron, S2, XL and OnX6 ranges, plus wiring, brackets and lenses.

Their optics are sold by pattern rather than by brightness, which is the honest way to buy lighting. Driving/combo suits general use; spot reaches distance; wide cornering fills the sides on a twisting road; and their work/scene pattern floods the ground close in for camp and recovery. Most builds mix two patterns rather than doubling one.

The interchangeable lens system is the practical advantage: the same lamp can be re-patterned by swapping a lens instead of buying a second light. Amber lenses cut glare-back in snow, dust and fog, which is worth having on any vehicle that drives a Canadian winter.
