The air locker is the piece the range is built around. Unlike a limited-slip, which biases torque, a locker mechanically ties both axle shafts together on demand — full traction when you switch it on, ordinary road manners when you switch it off. That switchability is why it suits a vehicle that drives to the trail rather than being trailered to it.

Most of the system shares one on-board compressor, which also runs air tools and reinflates tires at the end of a trail day. Plan the compressor and its plumbing alongside the locker rather than after it.
