Subaru Crosstrek Lift Kits: Coilovers, Spacers and Subframe Kits

This guide is for Canadian Subaru Crosstrek owners who want a little more clearance for gravel roads, deep snow or slightly larger tires. Crosstrek lift kits are small: the kits here list 1.5 to 2 inches. The choice is mainly between replacement coilovers and bolt-in spacer kits, and whether the kit is titled for your model year.

What to check first on your Crosstrek

The aFe kit below is titled 18-23, and the Ironman 4x4 kits are titled 2018+ Crosstrek GT. None of the kits named here is titled for 2024 or later specifically, so 2024+ owners should check the fitment table on each product page and use the vehicle selector.
• Coilovers or spacers. Ironman's All Terrain kits are built around pre-built ATS coilovers. The aFe and ReadyLift kits add spacers and brackets to the factory suspension. Both routes are described below.
• Rear geometry. aFe explains that to lift the rear ride height properly, the rear subframe must be spaced down to keep the suspension geometry and alignment, which also keeps the axles at good angles. Check whether a kit includes subframe spacers.
• Tires. A suspension lift raises ride height to clear larger tires. ReadyLift quotes its ground clearance figure with a 235 tire; for the other kits, check the product page.

Coilover kits: Ironman 4x4 All Terrain

Ironman 4x4 2018+ Subaru Crosstrek GT 2" All Terrain Suspension Lift Kit (SUB011BBKG): Ironman lists this kit for the 2018+ Subaru Crosstrek GT with 2 inches of lift. It uses Ironman's ATS coilover shock absorbers, which Ironman says are custom-valved for each vehicle application. The package details list pre-built coilovers with a 2-inch ride height option and a quantity of 1, so read the product page to see exactly what one order includes.

Ironman 4x4 2018+ Subaru Crosstrek GT 2" All Terrain Suspension Lift Kit (SUB011CBKG): the same title, lift and description under a different part number. Ironman's text does not explain how the part numbers differ, so compare the product pages before you order.

Spacer and bracket kits

aFe 18-23 Subaru Crosstrek CONTROL 1.5in Lift Kit: a 1.5-inch spacer lift. aFe says its offset front spacers correct the positive camber gained when lifting, so camber can be brought back to factory settings. The kit also includes rear subframe spacers and rear sway bar drop spacers to keep the suspension geometry, axle angles and end-link angles. aFe lists the subframe and sway bar spacers as 6061 T6 billet aluminium anodized black, the laser-cut lift spacers in a red powder coat finish, direct-fit installation with no modifications, and all necessary hardware included.

ReadyLift Suspension Lift Kit, 2" Lift (69-9820): a 2-inch kit for the Crosstrek models in its fitment table; the title gives no years. ReadyLift says it is completely bolt-on with no modifications and includes front sway bar brackets that move the front end links back to the factory angles on the strut. Subframe spacers on their own

Ironman 4x4 Subframe Alignment Kit Suited for Subaru Crosstrek, Outback, Forester (1215K): a subframe spacer kit rather than a full lift, titled for the Crosstrek, Outback and Forester. Ironman lists CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium parts, anodized for corrosion resistance, with a quantity of 1 required.
