Jeep Gladiator Lift Kits: Years, Drive and Lift Height
Share
This guide is for Jeep Gladiator owners choosing a lift kit. The decision comes down to three things: how much lift you want, whether your model year and drive are in the kit's title, and whether you want a complete kit or individual BDS components to build or tune one.
What a lift kit changes
A suspension lift raises ride height to clear larger tires. Kits vary in what they include, so check the parts list on each product page before you compare them. Coil springs do much of the work: a coil spring carries the weight of the vehicle at one corner and sets its ride height, and it works with the shock absorber, which controls how the spring moves. If you only want to raise the front to match the rear, that is a leveling kit; Leveling kit vs lift kit explains the difference.
What to check first on a Gladiator
- Model year. Our Lift Kits for 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator page covers every year, but the kit titles do not. The Rough Country kits below are titled 2020-2023, the Daystar kit 2020-2025 and the Fabtech kit 2021+. On a 2024 or newer truck, confirm the year in the title before ordering.
- Drive. The Rough Country and Fabtech titles state 4WD.
- Trim. Makers write some Gladiator kits for particular trims and exclude others. The maker notes and the fitment table on each product page say which; read both with your trim in mind.
- Height and tires. The complete kits here run from 2 to 6 inches. Settle on the tire size you want, then pick the height that clears it.
Complete lift kits
2 to 2.5 inches
- ReadyLift Suspension Lift Kit, 2.5" Lift (69-6025): ReadyLift says it lifts the vehicle 2.5 inches over stock ride height for added ground clearance. Its title names no vehicle, so use the fitment table on the product page for the Gladiator models and years it is recorded for, and read the maker notes on trims and tire sizes. More from the brand: ReadyLift Lift Kits.
- Daystar 2" Lift Kit, 20-25 Gladiator: a Daystar suspension lift kit titled for the 2020-2025 Gladiator. The listing says little beyond that, so check the parts list on the product page.
3.5 and 6 inches
- Rough Country 3.5" Lift Kit with N3 Shocks, 20-23 Gladiator 4WD (RCT-64930): 3.5 inches of suspension lift for ground clearance, with N3 shocks as the title says.
- Rough Country 6" Lift Kit, 20-23 Gladiator JT 4WD: lifts the vehicle 6 inches over stock ride height, the tallest kit in this guide. See all Rough Country Lift Kits.
BDS components
These two are component boxes: one box of a BDS lift kit, not the whole kit. They suit owners building a BDS kit or replacing springs. Check each product page for what the box holds.
- BDS Component Box for 3" Lift Kit, Coil Spring (BDS034340): a front coil spring. Its title lists the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler, select trims, and the 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator, select trims; the fitment table shows which trims.
- BDS Component Box for 2-3" Lift Kit, Coil Spring, 2020-2022 Gladiator JT (BDS032159): a rear coil spring, titled for 2-3 inch lift kits on the 2020-2022 Gladiator JT.
The rest of the brand's range is on BDS Suspension Lift Kits.
Another 3-inch option
- Fabtech Sport Lift System with Shock, 3", 2021+ Jeep Gladiator, 4WD: a 3-inch lift system with shock, titled for 2021 and newer 4WD Gladiators. The listing gives no parts list, so read the product page. More on Fabtech Lift Kits.

FAQ
Which of these kits are titled for a 2024 or newer Gladiator?
Of the kits named here, the Daystar 2-inch kit (titled 2020-2025) and the Fabtech 3-inch system (titled 2021+). The Rough Country kits are titled 2020-2023. For anything else, use the vehicle selector.
Is a BDS component box a complete lift kit?
No. Each is one box of a BDS lift kit and holds a coil spring: front for BDS034340, rear for BDS032159. Check the product page for exactly what is in the box.
Do these kits come with shocks?
The Rough Country 3.5-inch kit includes N3 shocks and the Fabtech kit is a lift system with shock, as their titles say. For the others, check the parts list on the product page.
Why does my Gladiator's trim matter?
Some kits are written for specific Gladiator trims and some exclude certain trims. The maker notes and fitment table on each product page say which, so confirm your trim before ordering.
