Chevrolet Colorado Leveling Kits: How to Choose
Share
This guide is for Chevrolet Colorado owners who want to level the truck's stance. A leveling kit raises the front to match the factory rear height, without changing the rear suspension. Start with your model year, then confirm drive and trim, then pick a lift height.
What to check first on a Colorado
- Model year. The kit titles here split at 2015-2022 and 2023-2024. Our Leveling Kits for 2015-2022 Chevrolet Colorado page covers the first; for a 2023 or newer truck, use the vehicle selector on Truck Leveling Kits.
- Drive. One Rough Country title states 2WD/4WD. For the other kits, check the fitment table for your drive.
- Trim. The aFe CONTROL title names the 2023-2024 Colorado ZR2. For other kits, make sure the fitment table lists your trim before you order.
- Lift height. The kits below give from 1.25 to 2 inches at the front, as their titles state. Pick the height that brings the front up to the rear.
2015-2022 Colorado
Rough Country 2"
The Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit - 15-22 Colorado / Canyon 2WD/4WD and the Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit - 15-22 Colorado / Canyon are both titled for the 2015-2022 Colorado and Canyon, and Rough Country says each raises the front end by 2 inches. Only the first title states 2WD/4WD; the titles say nothing else about how the two differ, so compare both product pages. More are on Rough Country Leveling Kits.
Pro Comp 1.25"
The Pro Comp 1.25" Front Leveling Kit - 15-22 Colorado / 15-22 Canyon is the lower option for these years: 1.25 inches at the front, per its title.
Proryde
The Proryde Leveling Kit 15-22 Colorado/Canyon - Proryde Front is a front leveling kit titled for the 2015-2022 Colorado and Canyon. Its title gives no lift height, so check the product page.
ReadyLift kits: 1.25" and 1.5"
The ReadyLift 1.25" title gives only the lift height, so its fitment table is where you confirm your year and trim. The 1.5" title names the 2023-2024 Colorado and Canyon; its fitment table lists the trims it covers.
The ReadyLift Suspension Leveling Kit, 1.25" Lift gives 1.25 inches of front lift to reduce the factory nose-down stance, per ReadyLift. The ReadyLift 1.5" Leveling Kit — 2023-2024 Chevrolet Colorado / GMC Canyon (66-33150) raises the front end by 1.5 inches. For both, ReadyLift says the kit installs with no cutting or modifications to the suspension or strut. More are on ReadyLift Leveling Kits.
2023-2024 Colorado ZR2
The aFe CONTROL 23-24 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 / GMC Canyon AT4X L4 2.7L (t) 1.25in Leveling Kit - Red is titled for the 2023-2024 Colorado ZR2 with the 2.7L turbocharged four-cylinder. aFe says the spacers are CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum with a red anodized finish, give 1.25 inches of front lift and install without taking the strut or spring apart. More aFe parts are on the AFE Power page.

aFe says its spacers install without disassembling the strut or spring, and ReadyLift says its kits install with no cutting or modifications to the suspension or strut. For the others, read the instructions on the product page.
Does a leveling kit change the rear of the truck?
No. A leveling kit raises the front to match the factory rear height, without changing the rear suspension.
