The 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser has become a cult icon in the off-road community. But the one thing Toyota couldn't engineer around is heat. The FJ's 4.0L 1GR-FE V6 engine pumps out up to 278 lb-ft of torque and a lot of heat, especially when slowly crawling up steep rock faces. Low road speeds mean low airflow through the radiator, which makes expelling all that heat difficult.
