The Competition Clutch 9.85 lb ultra lightweight steel flywheel is made for the 1993-2002 Volkswagen Golf / Jetta / Passat 2.8L. It is machined from one-piece 4140 forged steel and cuts rotating mass, so the engine revs and responds to the throttle faster than with a heavier factory flywheel.

Manufactured from one-piece 4140 forged steel, these lightweight performance flywheels provide the strength and durability needed for demanding applications while reducing rotational weight. The ultra-lightweight design helps the engine rev faster and respond more quickly to throttle input by reducing rotational mass compared to heavier OEM-style flywheels.
