The OEM upper control arms, knuckles, and lower control arms are all new and specifically designed for this model. THe OEM upper arm has a modified ball joint angle and is slightly longer in order to operate at this taller ride height. This model stock has tie rod angles are no longer flat with the centerlink and therefore GM has sent you down the road with a design that is prone to wearing the pitman and idler arms prematurely.

The patented Cognito Pitman and Idler Arm Support kit is included in this package and will fix the flaw in the GM front steering system which will prevent premature pitman arm, idler arm, and front tire wear.
