Weigh Safe Ball Mounts & Hitch Balls

Weigh Safe ball mounts hold the hitch ball at the right height for your trailer. Almost every listing is a drop hitch, sold by the drop and the shank size in the title, and the range also includes weight distribution hitches and hitch combos with towballs and a pintle.

Two sizes decide the fit. The shank is the part that slides into the receiver on your truck, and the samples list two-inch, two-and-a-half-inch and three-inch shanks. The drop is how far the ball sits below the receiver, with 6, 8 and 10 inch drops in the samples. To choose, measure from the ground to the top of the trailer coupler, then work out the drop that levels the trailer.

Ratings are in the titles. Each listing gives a gross trailer weight rating and a tongue weight rating, and the figures differ from one part to the next, so compare them to your trailer before you order. Finish codes in the part number mark options such as ceramic black coatings.

Most items are universal, so there is no vehicle list. Use the product page to compare shank size and ratings against your receiver and trailer. For more towing gear, see all towing and hitches. Prices are in Canadian dollars and orders ship across Canada.
