Crown Automotive Thermostats & Housings

Crown Automotive thermostats and housings are replacement cooling parts for Jeeps. The thermostat controls when coolant flows to the radiator, and the housing holds it in the engine.

The range includes thermostats, thermostat housings, a thermostat retainer and a housing adapter. Titles often carry the Mopar-style part number, and some are listed for select Jeep vehicles or for select Chrysler and Dodge vehicles.

The vehicle list covers a long span of Jeep models: Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep CJ5, Jeep CJ6, Jeep Commando, Jeep Wagoneer, Jeep Liberty and older full-size Jeep trucks. Because engines differ inside one model, match the part to your engine and not just to the model name.

When replacing a thermostat, it makes sense to look at the housing at the same time, since a cracked or corroded housing will leak whatever thermostat is inside it. A retainer or adapter is sold separately where the engine uses one.

Each product page lists the years, makes and models it fits, and the vehicle selector shows only parts for your Jeep. For other brands, see the full thermostats and housings range.
