Trimax Towing & Hitches

Trimax towing parts on this page are mostly security items. Towing security is the biggest group: receiver locks, shackle trailer locks in the hockey puck style, swing-away trailer locks, lunette tow ring locks, trailer door locks and a locking cable. Towing accessories come next, then hitches and a ball mount.

Locks are chosen by what they secure. A receiver lock goes through the hitch receiver, and titles list the pin diameter, such as 5/8-inch, and the span, which has to suit a 2-inch receiver. A right angle receiver lock and a universal receiver lock with a stainless steel sleeve are both listed. Trailer locks go on the coupler or the trailer door. A lunette tow ring lock is for trailers with a lunette ring, and the locking cable is a flexible option for items that are hard to lock any other way.

Some locks are sold as keyed alike sets, so one key opens all of them. This helps if you have several trailer doors or hitches.

These items are not tied to a vehicle. Match the lock to the receiver size, the trailer coupler or the door hardware. For other towing brands, see the full Towing & Hitches range. Priced in Canadian dollars and ships across Canada.
