Rugged Ridge auxiliary lights here are mostly for Jeeps. The range includes LED lights, square LED driving lights, five-by-seven off-road lights, HID round off-road lights, light covers, light guards and clearance lights. Several are sold for the Jeep Wrangler by generation, and some are universal.
Match the lamp to the mount first. Round, square and rectangular lamps do not swap, and the titles name the shape. Light guards and covers are sized to the lamp, and slim covers are listed for six-inch lights. Clearance lights and LED lights for the Wrangler JK, YJ and TJ are cut for those bodies.
Think about the job. A driving light throws a beam ahead, and an off-road lamp lights the ground around the Jeep. LED units draw less power than the older HID ones, and an HID lamp needs a ballast. Add guards if you drive in brush or on rocks.
