RFX Winches & Recovery Gear

RFX winches and recovery gear are sold by pull rating and size, not by vehicle. You choose the winch to match the weight of your truck and the kind of recovery you expect to do.

Winches are listed with their pull rating, motor power and rope type. Steel rope is tough on abrasion; synthetic rope is lighter and safer to handle if it lets go. A wireless remote for RFX winches is sold on its own.

Recovery gear covers the rest of the job. Recovery straps and tree saver straps are polyester and sold by width and length. Rope shackles, snatch blocks and recovery pulleys let you redirect or double a pull. Each lists a breaking strength or a working load limit, which you should compare to your vehicle weight and to the winch.

To build a kit, start from the winch rating, then add a tree saver, a shackle rated at or above the winch, and a snatch block if you may need to double the line.
