Polar Diesel Mufflers & Resonators

Polar Diesel mufflers and silencers quiet a diesel exhaust. This page is mostly muffler bodies sold by pipe size, with some complete exhaust systems that include or leave out the muffler.

Mufflers come in four-inch and five-inch versions, including universal silencer mufflers that fit custom pipes. The inlet size has to match your exhaust pipe, so measure it before you order. A larger pipe flows more and is usually louder, and a muffler cuts the volume back.

Several systems are listed as stainless exhaust systems with a muffler or without one, so you can decide how loud you want the truck. Titles refer to Duramax engines in Silverado and Sierra HD trucks, and a DPF-back system for the Gladiator diesel. The vehicle list names Ram 2500 and Jeep Gladiator.

To choose, pick the pipe size first, then decide between a muffler and a straight pipe. A muffler is the quieter choice and gives a deeper tone, and a system without one is the loudest. Check the engine and year in the title for system parts.

Each product page lists the years, makes and models it fits, and the vehicle selector shows only parts for your vehicle. For related parts, see the full exhaust and performance range.
