Gen-Y Hitches

Gen-Y Hitches sells towing hardware for trucks, and the largest group here is ball mounts. Next come hitches, gooseneck and fifth-wheel gear, towing accessories and a small group of running boards and nerf bars.

Named vehicles are Ford F-150, Ford F-250 Super Duty, Ford F-350 Super Duty, GMC Sierra 1500, GMC Sierra 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 3500 HD. Many other parts are sold by hitch type rather than by truck, so read the title for the frame or puck system it is built for.

Ball mounts follow the product-line names: Mega-Duty, Boss Torsion Flex and the Torsion-Flex designs. They differ by drop, the vertical offset that sets trailer height, and by shank size, which must match your receiver. The titles list drops and 2-inch and 2.5-inch shanks, and many include a Versa-Ball. Measure from receiver to trailer coupler height before choosing a drop.

For heavier trailers, the gooseneck range includes the Spartan coupler, the Advantage hitch for Super Duty trucks with the factory puck system, and a pin box that converts a fifth-wheel trailer to gooseneck. Check the title for the frame type it fits.

The brand's category pages are Gen-Y towing and Gen-Y ball mounts. For gooseneck gear from other makers, see gooseneck and fifth wheel. Each product page lists the years, makes and models it fits.
