More power, better sound, sharper throttle. Cat-back and axle-back exhaust systems, headers, downpipes, tips, cold air intakes, tuners and the hardware that joins them — MBRP, Edelbrock, AFE Power and more.
Exhaust and intake work as a pair. Opening one side of the engine's breathing without the other moves the restriction rather than removing it, which is why a full exhaust system and an intake usually deliver together what neither quite delivers alone. Diameter is not a case of bigger being better: too large and you lose the exhaust velocity that low-end torque depends on.
Decide about sound before you buy, because it is the part you live with daily. A cat-back changes tone most; an axle-back changes volume most; a resonator delete is loudest and the one most often regretted at highway speed on a long drive.

Power comes in through the intake and out through the exhaust, and the tune has to know about both. Intake side: air intakes and filters and fuel systems and injectors sized to the fuel you now need. Exhaust side: exhaust systems, mufflers and resonators for the tone you can live with daily, and exhaust tips for the part anyone actually sees. Nitrous systems are on-demand power with their own supporting hardware, and oils, fluids and chemicals keep the whole of it serviced.
