Engine & Driveline

From the air box to the axles — SCE Gaskets, Advanced Clutch, Edelbrock and more. Engine components, gaskets and seals, clutches and flywheels, differentials, gears and the hardware that ties them together.
Most of what sits here is a repair or a rebuild rather than an upgrade, and the two want different things from you. A rebuild wants exact specification: bore, stroke, bearing size, gasket thickness and the tolerances your machinist gave you. An upgrade wants a matched set — a clutch that suits the torque you now make, gears that suit the tire diameter you now run, a cooler sized for the way the vehicle is actually used.
Gear ratio is the one most often left too late. Fitting substantially taller tires without regearing costs throttle response, shift quality and fuel economy all at once, and the axle does not care that the tires looked right.
Many listings in this department carry verified vehicle fitment, so you can filter to your own year, make and model rather than guessing from a part number.
Working by system. On the engine itself: gaskets and seals for a leak or a rebuild, engine internals and engine hardware and fasteners once the short block is apart, timing components on interval. Behind it: clutch and flywheel matched to the torque you now make, differentials and axles when tire diameter has outgrown the gear ratio, and transmission and transfer case parts between the two.
