Carr Steps & Hand Rails

Carr makes assist steps and hand rails that make it easier to climb into a tall vehicle. The range includes Super Hoop and HOOP II assist and side steps, and WTS retractable steps with a grip strut. Finishes named in the titles are XM3 polished and XP3 black powder coat.

The step style is the first choice. A hoop step mounts to the side of the vehicle as a fixed step and handhold. A retractable WTS step folds out of the way when it is not needed, and it is listed in two lengths, one for cargo vans with a side door. Titles tell you whether it is a single or a pair, so check the quantity.

Finish matters for use and for looks. Polished XM3 is bright and shows the shine. Black powder coat XP3 is the plain, tougher-looking option. Some Super Hoop steps are multimount, which means they fit several vehicles with a different bracket.

The vehicles named include the Ford Bronco, Ford F-150, Ford F-250, Ford F-450 Super Duty, Ford Ranger, Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Express 1500 and Dodge Sprinter 2500. Each product page lists the years, makes and models it fits. For more, see the full step pads, brackets and grab handles range. Orders ship across Canada and are priced in Canadian dollars.
