AMP Research Running Boards

AMP Research running boards on this page are power steps. The PowerStep line deploys when a door opens and tucks away when it closes, so the truck keeps its ground clearance.

PowerStep and PowerStep XL are the main styles here, sold by part number for a specific truck. The Powerstep Vision adds lighting and is listed for the Cadillac Escalade ESV.

The vehicle list includes Ford F-150, Ford F-250, Ford Excursion, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Jeep Wrangler and Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. Fitment depends on cab style, so check whether your truck is a crew cab, double cab or other body.

Compared with fixed running boards, a power step costs more and adds wiring, but it works well on lifted trucks where a fixed board would hang low. Compared with a nerf bar, it gives a wider step surface that appears only when needed.

Each product page lists the years, makes and models it fits, and the vehicle selector shows only parts for your truck. For other styles and brands, see the full running boards range.
