Past six inches almost nothing is optional any more. Driveshaft length and pinion angle need correcting or you will feel vibration at highway speed and replace U-joints repeatedly. Brake lines need extending. The track bar and drag link need relocating brackets or the axle sits off-centre and the steering fights itself. Most kits in this band include those parts; the ones that do not are cheaper for exactly that reason.
Plan the tire and the gear together with the height. A lift this size is normally bought to clear 37s or larger, and that tire diameter will cost you throttle response and transmission temperature unless the axle ratio changes with it.
