Cat-back, axle-back and header-back exhaust systems in stainless and aluminized steel — MBRP, Borla, AFE Power and more.
The name tells you where the system starts. A cat-back replaces everything behind the catalytic converter, which is the most common upgrade and the one that changes tone most because it includes the muffler and usually the mid-pipe. An axle-back replaces only the section behind the rear axle: cheaper, quicker to fit, and mostly a change in volume rather than character.
Material decides how long it lasts on a salted road. Aluminized steel is cheaper and will surface-rust within a few Canadian winters; 304 stainless costs more and survives them. 409 stainless sits between the two and is what most factory-replacement systems use.
