The JKS dual rate coil springs are a tried and true design that provides excellent versatility - on-road comfort is provided by the softer rate, while the firmer rate increases capacity for your gear and improved control off-road. All springs are scragged to eliminate settling after install and shot-peened to add more surface area, significantly increasing long term durability. The larger diameter valve shims translate to a smoother feel - think firmness without harshness, allowing for a softer tune. 50% more piston surface area provides less damping fade and more bottom-out control at higher speeds, increasing on and off-road control.
